Dream Banner

The last couple of days I have spent some time creating this mini banner with the new Lucy paper that will debut on February 1st. I had so much fun playing with the paper and the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. Want to make one? Just ask me how :)

I look forward to scrapbooking this weekend at the Trinity College event and scrapbooking next week Wednesday night with my great customers and friends.

Let me know if you would like to join the fun.

M & M treat

What a great time I had this weekend scrapbooking with 84 women. I took this picture early Saturday morning and just a few people (Hi Nina!) had showed up for the day.
As a special treat I made a gift for those who stopped by my CTMH display table. Everyone can use a little chocolate while they scrapbook!

Look for more posts coming soon with all of the pages that I completed. What a great event. If you are interested in joining us in the fall, just leave a comment and I will email you the flyer with all of the information.

Let It Snow!

What fun I had today watching it snow outside and coloring snowmen in the house! (These little guys were hard to photograph, so you may have to click on the picture to see a better view.)
I made 18 snowman refridgerator magnets for a church group function for this coming Friday. The magnets are round favor tins found in the bridal section of many craft stores.
*I stamped snowflakes on a 2" white circle and adhered the circle to the inside back of the tin.
*The snowman is from the stamp set Magical Season and he is watercolored, cut out and adhered with foam tape to the circle.
*I added a tablespoon of glitter to the tin.
*The clear top stays in place with an adhesive strip of paper stamped with snowflakes. The adhesive paper strips are included with the tins.

~I love snow and even if you don't see snow outside your windows where you live, you can have a snowman in your house!~

My Favorite Things

I love to organize. Sometimes I organize more than I create, and today I was in the organizing mood. A Close To My Heart consultant had shared an idea of stitching Memory Protectors and creating pockets that are smaller to accommodate the Rub-ons and Color Ready Alphabets. I like to use each of these products but sometimes forget about them. So I created an album for them!

I used the Notebook paper pack, Stickease and several different ribbons to make my album cover fun. For the inside I stitched up 10 Memory Protectors to make the pockets. If you would like more specific directions or to place an order for some of the supplies just send me an email. I would love to help.

3 - ring binder Album

I have been playing in my office and this is what I came up with! I used the Bella paper pack, the CTMH 3 ring binder album and for the picture pages I used the fun new CTMH Flip Flaps. I plan to have a tab for each member of the family along with some other family fun times such as vacations, holidays, etc. I can add as many picture pages as I need behind each tab.
Back to my office now to create another album with a different paper pack and theme. Then I hope to offer it as a workshop. Interested? Leave a comment so that I can contact you when I have picked a date and have the albums / workshop priced out.

Acrylic Album Workshop

I love this new acrylic album and had a great time making this one with the Perfect Day Level 2 paper and Love Story Colonial White Rub-ons. I am holding a workshop to make this special project on Wednesday night - April 8th. This workshop is full, but if this is of interest to you, I would be happy to have another workshop!
